This policy should be read in conjunction with the Book Me In (Pty) Ltd ("the company") Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

The company secures your personal information from unauthorised access, use or disclosure via the means outlined below:

SSL

Data transferred between your browser and the company’s servers is encrypted and secured by SSL certificates – the same protocol by your internet banking – so that no-one can eavesdrop on your communications.

PHYSICAL ACCESS CONTROL

The company’s servers are stored in a data centre provided by Afrihost, where access to the buildings, data floors and individual areas is strictly controlled by means of individually programmed access cards – using biometrics and visual identification – ensuring secure, single-person entry.

HIGH SECURITY STANDARDS

The data centre provider has achieved the ISO27001:2005 Security Management standard, which ensures the proper selection of adequate and proportionate security controls to protect all information assets.

DATA PROTECTION

Data is backed up to an off-site location every 2 hours as well as to another off-site location every 24 hours.
